| You need to approach PE-8s off axis with extreme caution in order to defeat its protective guns, especially from rear quadrants. Use high speed attacks to limit the gunner's tracking ability due to the fast closure rate. The PE-8 has the most rear-facing guns of any bomber (landing gear pods are frequently forgotten). Successful attacks can be made from 11 or 1 o'clock high (most successful) or low; the 3 or 9 o'clock position; or near vertical from above. | ||
